Trinny Tat


Trinny Tat is currently a postdoctoral scholar advised by Dr. Jun Chen in the Department of Bioengineering at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her research focuses on novel bioelectronics for the detection of cardiac arrhythmia. Prior to that, she completed her PhD at the University of California, Los Angeles, Los Angeles in the same lab. Her bachelor’s degree was from the University of Arizona, in Biomedical Engineering, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.

She has an impressive track record in her field, having already published 37 high-impact journal articles and co-authored 1 textbook. Additionally, she holds 1 patent related to chemical sensors. Her h-index is 21. Beyond her academic pursuits, she actively participates in community services and outreach events and promotes work-life balance as an essential aspect of overall well-being.
