Ellen O’Connor


Dr. Ellen O’Connor is an NIH T32 postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Medicine-Cardiology at UCLA.  She earned her BS in Molecular Toxicology from UC Berkeley in 2012 and her PhD from UCLA in Molecular Toxicology in 2021 in the lab of Dr. Srinivasa Reddy.  She stayed on as a post-doctoral fellow to continue her research studying the connection between dietary oxylipins and the induction of pulmonary hypertension in mice.  Dr O’Connor is focusing on changes in the intestine caused by dietary oxylipins that lead to modulations in the lung by utilizing machine learning to integrate and analyze multi omics datasets.
