Giuliana Repetti

Dr. Giuliana Repetti is a cardiology fellow and physician-scientist trainee in the STAR program at UCLA, pursuing a PhD in Molecular, Cellular, and Integrative Physiology. During medical school, she completed a Sarnoff Cardiovascular Research Fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, investigating the biomechanics of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in the laboratory of Drs. Christine and Jonathan Seidman. She now conducts research in the laboratory of Dr. Peter Tontonoz at UCLA, studying intracellular cholesterol transport and its role in cardiometabolic disease. She is supported by the UCLA/Caltech iTEAM Bioengineering T32 training grant.
